The RTA Considers Service Changes

The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority is considering changes to its bus services that are needed to improve efficiency, eliminate unproductive service, and help reduce costs.   A series of public hearings is scheduled for December.  If approved, the changes would be effective in February 2010. Proposed changes include:

    • Frequency: Sunday - Hourly

  • Route #76:Route #76 would be extended on Corpus Christi Beach up to Beach Street and further south to Water and Buford (Holiday Inn Emerald Beach Hotel). The service would operate seasonally in conjunction with our Harbor Ferry service between the hours of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
